Michael Falzarano is an American guitarist, singer and songwriter. He has been a professional musician since the 1970’s, most notably in Hot Tuna and The New Riders of the Purple Sage which had a revival in 2005. It featured David Nelson and Buddy Cage, alongside guitarist Michael Falzarano. They released a live album, Wanted: Live at Turkey Trot, and two studio albums, Where I Come From and 17 Pine Avenue. Now with his group Michael Falzarano and Friends, they have been keeping the repertoire of The New Riders Of The Purple Sage going along with Songs Of The Grateful Dead and Michael’s originals.

Professor Louie has emerged in the music industry as the torchbearer of the true spirit of American Roots music. Seasoned live performer, prolific recording artist and versatile multi-instrumentalist, Professor Louie also wears the hat of award-winning Recording Producer and Engineer. Louie became a part of The Band’s legacy: Co-producing and performing on their three final albums, Jericho, High On The Hog and Jubilation. Rick Danko, bass player and singer of The Band, christened him Professor Louie. The Crowmatix began as the studio backing band for Louie’s musical productions for The Band. The Crowmatix performed extensively with members of The Band and released a CD with Levon Helm ~ Levon Helm & The Crowmatix CD “Souvenir Vol. 1”
